Alvora Partners is a consulting firm dedicated to managers, executives and investors, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations in Europe and North America. We support our small and mid-cap clients in their strategic operations, from acquisitions and transfers to fund-raising and capital restructuring.
Missions
TheM&A Analyst will play a key role in our team, actively participating in the execution of mandates and the development of our business. Main tasks include:
- Financial analysisand valuation: Financial modeling (DCF, stock market comparables and comparable transactions), performance analysis and study of the financial impact of transactions.
- Preparation ofkey documents: drafting of teasers, info memorandums, strategic presentations and marketing documents for customers and investors.
- Duediligence and sector studies: in-depth research and analysis of target sectors, identification of market trends and competitive intelligence.
- Transaction execution: Participation in negotiations, interactions with investors, banks and legal advisors, and monitoring of transaction processes.
- Supportfor senior teams: working with partners and directors to structure and execute mandates, ensure reporting and coordinate stakeholders.
Profile required
Weare looking for a candidate with a passion for corporate finance and a sharp analytical mind. The ideal profile has the following skills and qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of a business or engineering school with a specialization in finance, or of a university with a background in finance/economics.
- Experience: A first experience in M&A, Private Equity, Transaction Services or Financial Consulting is an asset.
- Technical skills: Excellent command of valuation and financial modeling techniques (Excel),fluency with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.), mastery of AI technologies.
- Interpersonal skills: ability to work as part of a team, rigor, autonomy and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Languages: Perfect command of written and spoken French and English.
