Alvora Partners is a consulting firm dedicated to managers, executives and investors, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations in Europe and North America. We support our Small and Mid Cap customers in their strategic operations, from acquisitions and transfers to fund-raising and capital restructuring.
Missions
The Business Developer will play a key role in identifying and acquiring new customers and developing commercial relationships. Main tasks include :
- Business development: Identification of new opportunities, active prospecting and implementation of customer acquisition strategies (SMEs, ETIs, investors, funds, etc.).
- Sales cycle management: Making contact, presenting the Alvora Partners offer, understanding customer needs and negotiating mandates.
- Market strategy and intelligence : Analysis of sector trends, identification of key players and competitive intelligence to adapt your offering and sales strategy.
- Networking and partnerships: Participation in events, conferences and trade shows to boost Alvora Partners' visibility and develop a network of partners.
- Internal collaboration: work closely with M&A teams to align business strategy with market opportunities and customer needs.
Profile required
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong appetite for business development in corporate finance.
- Education: Graduate of a business school or university with a specialization in finance, business or entrepreneurship.
- Experience: First successful experience in business development, investment banking, financial consulting or sales of high-end B2B services is a plus.
- Technical skills: good understanding of financial issues and M&A processes, ability to identify and structure deal opportunities.
- Personal skills : Excellent interpersonal skills, autonomy, proactivity and ability to convince high-level interlocutors.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
