Alvora Partners is a consulting firm dedicated to managers, executives and investors, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) operations in Europe and North America. We support our Small and Mid Cap customers in their strategic operations, from acquisitions and transfers to fund-raising and capital restructuring.
Missions
The M&A Analyst Intern will play a key role in supporting the teams and actively participate in ongoing mandates. Main tasks include:
- Financial analysis and valuation: financial modeling (DCF, stock market comparables and comparable transactions), sector analyses and transaction impact studies.
- Preparation of transaction materials: Contribution to the drafting of teasers, information memorandums, presentations and analyses for customers and investors.
- Market research and strategic intelligence: in-depth sector research and analysis to identify market opportunities and trends.
- Participation in the execution process: support in organizing due diligence, coordinating exchanges with the various stakeholders and monitoring transactions.
- Teamwork: Close collaboration with analysts, managers and associates to structure and execute mandates.
Profile required
We are looking for a rigorous, inquisitive candidate who is motivated by the M&A sector.
- Education: final-year student at a business, engineering or university school with a major in finance, accounting or economics.
- Experience: A first experience in finance (M&A, Private Equity, Audit, Transaction Services or Financial Consulting) is a plus.
- Technical skills: Good command of valuation and financial modeling techniques (Excel), familiarity with financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc.).
- Personal skills: Ability to work under pressure, team spirit, rigor and excellent analytical skills.
- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken French and English.
